High-Performance Optimization (“The Premier League”)
Assuming architectural responsibility for the company’s in-house ad serving system. Development in this high-frequency field is considered the absolute premier league of software architecture: when processing gigantic amounts of data in real time, even 1% missing code optimization immediately means the cost of five additional servers.
Daniel now transfers this uncompromising school of hardware efficiency 1:1 to our enterprise e-commerce infrastructures. Through in-depth tuning (including TTFB minimization, Varnish caching and database indexing), he ensures that complex Shopware and CMS clusters remain highly available, extremely fast and, above all, cost-efficiently scalable even under extreme load peaks.
- 2008
Joined as Programmer & Legacy Architect
His career began directly at HQ GmbH’s code base. This foundation is the basis for his exceptionally deep technological understanding. Daniel has accompanied the evolution of e-commerce from the very beginning and understands the architecture of historical systems such as OSCommerce, XT-Commerce and TYPO3 (from version 3) down to the smallest database detail.

A milestone in his career is the continuous further development of agile, high-performance deployment processes that enable us to synchronize huge volumes of data and complex ERP interfaces without errors.
With more than 20 years of project experience, he is now the final authority at HQ GmbH whenever existing system landscapes need to be comprehensively optimized, modernized or rescued from critical situations.
“Stable systems do not happen by chance, but through clean architecture, measurable DevOps processes and the willingness to dive deep into legacy code precisely where other agencies turn back.”
