2020

Between 2016 and 2020, HQ GmbH focused on the development of enterprise hosting solutions and the implementation of complex B2B e-commerce projects. This period was characterized by the integration of modern frontend technologies, migration to cloud infrastructures, and supporting customers in their digital transformation during the pandemic.

2015

HQ GmbH develops the smart OnSite technology converify.de.
The intelligent technology detects when a visitor is inactive or is about to leave the site without converting.
The particular challenge of this project was to create a solution that, unlike the existing technologies on the market, allows customized solutions for increasing conversion through the integration of a single line of code.
As a result, converify.de offers numerous advantages for customers, as they can choose from a wide range of options and are not limited to simply detecting an abandonment or sending a shopping cart.
In addition, the system was developed in such a way that it can respond flexibly to future requirements.

2013

Another milestone in our company’s history.
We now rent out, operate, and maintain 200 servers for our customers.

2012

Due to our professional performance on the previous project, we were commissioned by the Greiz District Administration to develop a vocational training portal using our search solutions. In this process, the websites of the participating partners are crawled by our search solution, and the results are centrally consolidated and displayed in the vocational training portal.

2013

Public-Sector Client Places Its Trust in HQ GmbH: Reference Project “Dein Ausbildungsportal” for the Greiz District

With the Greiz District, HQ GmbH implemented its first project for a public-sector client. A feasibility analysis for a regional vocational training portal was followed by the commission to technically develop the platform – together with several institutional partners.

Project at a Glance

  • Client: Greiz District
  • Project: “Dein Ausbildungsportal”
  • Project partners: Employment Agency, Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), and Chamber of Crafts
  • Services provided by HQ GmbH: Feasibility analysis, concept development, development of proprietary search technology, and technical implementation of the portal

The search technology developed automatically crawls the websites of the participating institutions and centrally consolidates their vocational training and job offers in a shared portal. The aim of the project was to provide students, people interested in vocational training, and companies with a central access point for regional training and job opportunities.

On November 14, 2013, the portal [www.dein-ausbildungsportal.de](http://www.dein-ausbildungsportal.de) was officially launched as part of the 2013 Business Day of the Greiz District at the Vogtlandhalle Greiz. At the time of launch, more than 60 companies and institutions were already connected to the portal.

The launch was carried out jointly by District Administrator Martina Schweinsburg, Ralph Burghart (Employment Agency), Klaus Nützel (Chamber of Crafts), Albrecht Pitschel (Chamber of Industry and Commerce), as well as Dirk Goldhan and Mathias Goldhan (HQ GmbH).

The public presentation of the project was also covered journalistically by the Ostthüringer Zeitung (OTZ) (“Premiere with Demonstration Effect at the Business Day in Greiz, Marius Koity, November 14, 2013).

This reference project documents HQ GmbH’s experience in planning and technically implementing complex digitalization projects in the public sector. In particular, it demonstrates expertise in the development of powerful search technologies, the consolidation of distributed data sources, and cooperation with multiple public institutions within a joint project.

2012

Due to continued growth, it became necessary to build a parking lot for the numerous new employees. At the same time, the entrance area with its leaded glass windows and the listed doors were professionally restored by a conservator in accordance with historic preservation requirements.
This further highlights the intended contrast between cutting-edge modernity and historic architecture.

2010

The expansion of the office space was not long in coming. Due to the continued strong development and the resulting increase in staff, we had to expand our office space to 240 sqm as a first step.

2009

Due to market developments, a trading platform for online advertising was developed in parallel with the ad serving system, enabling high-speed auctions between advertisers and publishers.
We were able to secure schaltplatz.de as a pilot customer, which actively supported our development with its expertise in online marketing.
Within just 3 months, we developed a fully functional first version of the system, which, through the newly created API integration, also utilizes the highly available infrastructure of adNET.de.

2009

Due to continued growth, HQ Professional Services GmbH was founded, which will focus primarily on business with major customers and corporate clients.
HQ Professional Services GmbH is located in the same building, allowing both companies to benefit from each other’s experience and thereby provide even better service to their customers.

2006

The foundations for further growth were laid.
As there was not enough space in the office in Jena, a suitable property for new offices was sought.
A suitable location was found in Auma-Weidatal, in an old Art Nouveau villa.
The building was completely renovated in accordance with historic preservation requirements, and by the end of 2006 the company moved into the new 120 sqm office space. At the same time, future growth was also taken into consideration, with the office space easily expandable to up to 380 sqm.
